Who runs it

Build My Longevity (BML) is an independent consumer research website. It isn't owned by a test provider, clinic or supplement brand, and it doesn't sell anything itself.

BML uses AI tools such as Claude, Gemini and Perplexity in its research. Every price and fact is still checked on the brand's own site and dated before it goes on the page.

How we research

  • From the provider's or brand's own site. Every price and fact is checked on the provider's or brand's own US site (or, for an overseas brand that ships here, its own site), not a search result, press release or reseller, and copied as published.
  • Dated. Every listing shows the date we checked it. Treat that date as an expiry, and check the provider's or brand's own site before you buy.
  • "Not stated" means we looked. When a provider or brand doesn't publish something, such as a price, a dose or who reviews your results, we say "Not stated" rather than guess.
  • Claims are labeled as the brand's. Where we repeat what a brand says about its product, we say it's the brand's claim.
  • Regulator records checked. For supplements and longevity products we look for FDA warning letters and product recalls, and say on the card when one applies.
  • No reviews or star ratings of our own. Where we show an outside rating, we name the source, the score, the number of reviews and the date we checked it.

What a listing must meet to get on the site in the first place is on How we choose. More on our checks is on the disclosure page.

How we grade evidence

On Supplement evidence, each ingredient is placed in one of three tiers by a written rule that's the same for every ingredient, based on the kind of human studies behind it, never on popularity or price. The rule is published on that page under how we decide the tiers, and every ingredient links the reviews or trials it rests on, with the date we checked them.

Where an official body has published a view, we report it and name it, for example the upper limits from NIH's Office of Dietary Supplements, or The Menopause Society's 2023 statement on Menopause supplements. On Research, each study links to the paper and carries a label based on how it was designed.

A tier or a listing describes the evidence. It isn't a recommendation, and it doesn't mean a product works for you.

Corrections

When a published fact turns out to be wrong, incomplete or missing context, we fix it and record it in our corrections log, with the date and the page (11 so far). Spotted something? Tell us through the contact form, and we'll check it against the brand's own site before changing anything.

Never ranked for money

No provider pays to be listed or for a better position. What we list, the order it appears in and what we say about it are decided only by the published facts and the rules on How we choose. Comparisons are ordered by type and price, and we never name a "best" option or a winner. See our disclosure.

Not medical advice

Build My Longevity compares prices and published facts. It isn't medical advice, it doesn't interpret test results, and it doesn't recommend a test, product or supplement for anyone. Talk to your doctor about what's right for you.
